5 years agoChristmas Eve with everyone in our jammies sipping hot cocoa (adults have a little extra warming kick to theirs) by the lit fireplace singing carols. Opening one small gift to whet our appetites for the gift buffet on Christmas day!

5 years agoOf our three small children, the tradition was the reading of The Night Before Christmas, and as they became older, allowing them to open one wrapped present of their choice. To this day, Santa does not come until after they are in bed and asleep (or presumed to be as our youngest is now 56).

5 years agoWe have a few traditions, like decorating the tree the day after Thanksgiving, spending an evening driving around looking at lights, and once or twice we host a few grown-ups for drinks and snacks.
