I became a fan in college back in 2007. E&J has always been a staple in the hood and I couldn't wait to buy my first bottle. Money well spent.

I remember back in 2008 on my 21st birthday my uncle who I always looked up to came from New York down here to Compton and he bought me a fifth of E&J V.S.O.P. Instantly he poured it straight in a glass with a few ice cubes and when I took my first drink it was so smooth I knew then and there this was my favorite. He passed away in 2011 and as a reminder for him I got the E&J Tattoo on my wrist. I miss him every day and thankful he introduced me to my favorite liquor till this day. So if I was to win this coach's jacket I'll rock it in his memory.
