When I met my father in law for the first time, he took me to his "maple shack" in the MN woods where he was cooking maple syrup. Empty E&J bottles were used for the bottling of the syrup, but we had to make more empties first ;). That's how it began for me. It's been almost 20 years now. Cold forest, warm cooking shack, and some maple brandy's.
