It was the first bottle I ever bought at the liquor store on my 21 birthday. I had seen it at family reunions and get togethers, but never understood why everyone was having so much fun. I found out that evening that E&J goes with just about everything, from barbecue to horseshoes, and turns any backyard into a party.

I was in college and away from home for the first time...free to make my own choices...& my first choice was to be introduced to E&J. We've been friends ever since, over 50 years ago.

Drinking good Brandy is done for many reasons. Sometimes we drink to socialize with friends, sometimes to remember old friends, and sometimes just to remember. Remembering when I was a kid looking at my dad’s Brandy collection hidden away in that cupboard over the refrigerator all covered with dust. And remembering the stories my dad told me about the bars he visited in his day.

I used to sit in the yard with my dear mother and have drinks with her back in the early 80' s. I have the best memories of her and I just relaxing and enjoying summer days cooking on the grill, watch the birds.enjoying our E&j
