I picked up a bottle of this a few months ago and I fell in love with it. Now I can't find it anywhere and I am bummed. I like to enjoy a glass or two on the Rocks before bed. I never drank this brand before, but I will from now on. Bring spiced back!

    Spiced Brandy Hot Toddy
Wednesday February 25, 2015 in COCKTAILS
Mixologist Simon Ho calls this warming winter cocktail a "bartender's Neo Citran." In other words, it's a delicious cocktail for any time you need to feel better.
    Spiced brandy hot toddy

    Ingredients
    2 oz brandy
    2 lemon wedges
    to taste honey spice syrup
    to taste hot water
    1 stick cinnamon
    Honey Spice Syrup
    1 cup honey
    1/2 cup water
    4 sticks cinnamon
    6–10 cloves
    Preparation
Squeeze lemon wedges in a mug, leaving spent wedges in the mug.
Pour 1-2 ounces of honey spice syrup over the lemons.
Add brandy, and top off with hot water.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick (optional)
    Honey spice syrup
Add all ingredients to a small pot, and bring to a boil.
Reduce to half over medium heat.
Syrup will keep for a week or two in an airtight container in the fridge.
